What is on Offer?
What we do
There are a wide range of creative activities to choose from and what’s on offer is changing all the time. People of all artistic abilities are welcome and you don’t need any previous experience. The programme is more about getting involved, exploring and having fun!
There are twelve places available on each of the workshops and we ask that you make a commitment to attend every week. We aim to make the workshops a nice relaxed place to be, where you will feel welcome. You will find friendly faces, fun, music and a cuppa!
All workshops and outings are free of charge and all materials are provided. Unfortunately we are not able to fund any additional expenses, such as travel or child care. We will share information about local events and services relating to arts and health and support you through every step of your involvement with us.
Our Core Workshop Schedule
Our workshops take place once a week and run throughout the year in five- or six-week blocks. You can choose which workshop you want to attend:
Southport: Mondays (1 - 3pm)
Crosby: Wednesdays (10.15am - 12.15pm)
Formby: Wednesdays (2.15 – 4.15pm)
Bootle: Thursdays (2 - 4pm)
Go with the Flow!
Following involvement with Creative Alternatives, many of our clients access 'Go with the Flow', a mainstream arts group which costs just £3 per session and runs in Southport, Formby and Bootle. To find out more about 'Go with the Flow' please visit our 'Courses and Classes' pages.
