The Civic is situated in the centre of Crosby, next to Crosby Library.  It is a multi-faceted theatre facility that offers a variety of events including theatre, music, comedy and film for a strong and varied amateur programme as well as special events programmed throughout the year.

The facilities available are flexible to the needs of both corporate and private events.

The introduction of parking charges at The Civic car park will come into force in October 2011 and will operate from Monday to Saturday 8am – 6pm, charges as follows:

Holders of a Disabled Persons Parking Permit (Blue Badge) will be able to park free of charge and for unlimited periods on the car park.

Sefton Council is striving to improve disabled access to all of its facilities.

Limited wheelchair spaces are available; advanced booking is strongly advised.  The Fire Authority recommends that wheelchair patrons should remain in their wheelchairs throughout the performance; transfer to ordinary seating is not recommended.

Each wheelchair patron should be accompanied by an able-bodied person, who will be expected to assist should an evacuation become necessary.

Situated in the heart of Crosby, The Civic provides a range of facilities and venues available to hire, including the Main Hall, Upper Foyer, Lecture Hall and Bar area. All rooms are suitable for a variety of events, conferences, and private parties.  We are happy to discuss your event and be flexible with your requirements.
