What is Creative Alternatives?
Creative Alternatives is a new remedy for stress, anxiety and depression which you can access for free if you live within the Borough of Sefton.
There is plenty of research to show that the arts can help improve wellbeing. For this reason Sefton Council and NHS Sefton are now offering creative activities as an alternative or as an addition to standard treatments for people who experience mild to moderate depression, anxiety or stress.
When you join the programme you will be invited to attend one of our core workshops which take place on a weekly basis and explore a range of art forms. The programme is available to you for up to 6 months. When you leave the programme we will support you in continuing with your creative interests.
